It was always cold when Sirius came back. The wolf never came back from a contract with warmth and flowers and happiness. Just cold, blustering wind that followed him around. It may have been a product of his ice magic; it most likely was in fact, since the wolf could harness ice like lungs could harness air. However, it might have also just been his mood most of the time, since the wolf saw many of the contracts that he got as beneath him, or being just too much of a job when he could have been doing something he liked. Still, money was money, and gold spent better than most things he’d found. As such, that meant taking jobs he didn’t like, coming back to his castle with blustering, blowing cold winds of his frustration from his magic leaking out, and just generally being a grouch as he got back. Sirius knew that, but well, he didn’t care much. He would get over it by the time he got to the gates most of the time, and he made sure to reign in his magics if he hadn’t, but it was always a case. A storm coming? Sirius was back, and he was grouchy.

And that was where Altrios came in.

Altrios was the utter opposite of Sirius in that regard. Coming back from a job, the wolfdragon was all sunshine and rainbows. He got paid, he got to have an adventure, and he got to maybe meet someone new to play pranks on later? What was there to be upset about when all of those good things were happening? Of course, that was more to the chipper disposition of the wolfdragon than anything else compared to the icy one of the wolf, but that was for another time. For this time, the contrast between the two was more important for signaling when one would be coming back from a contract or a trip, and what it would mean for the castle when they finally returned. They were very similar in many other ways; both princes, both powerful mages, both seasoned by years of living both inside and outside a palace, both well-versed in dealing with other nobles… It was odd how similar, and yet how different the two of them could be. One stoic and grumpy, one wild and untamed. The contrast was always shown it’s best in their returns though, and with Sirius being the one coming back in after a long contract… Well, it was on full display for the castle as the light blue ice wolf came striding through the gates with a huff and shake of his fur.

“Long one for ya again, huh Sirius?” Altrios said, greeting the wolf at the gates and nodding towards the snow that was on the path behind him. Sirius just shorted and shook his fur once more, the tall wolf looking at his equally-tall friend and shrugging.

“It was a pain,” Sirius responded, his voice deep and gruff as he spoke. “A waste of my time, just like the last three jobs.”

“Is that so? Then why do you keep taking the jobs hmmm?” Altrios replied, his voice light as he practically skipped over to the serious canine and grinned a toothy grin at him. Sirius just frowned and rolled his eyes; he knew Altrios was trying to goad him into saying something, and right now the wolf just wanted to wash the contract off him, get something to eat, and get some rest. “Don’t ya have like, way better things to do?”

“You know full well why I am working as much as I am lately, Altrios,” Sirius said through lightly-gritted teeth, his blue eyes narrowing slightly in annoyance at the wolfdragon’s teasings. Altrios backed right up, his red eyes wide with mock surprise and the usual glint of mischief. Sirius just rolled his eyes again and moved past the purple and blue wolfdragon. His long, thick coat brushed against the shorter fur of the hybrid, and it’s icy touch made Altrios shiver slightly from the contact. “I just want to eat and sleep.”

“About that… The stores of ice cream are overflowing. Think you can do something about that?” Altrios said, and that was all it took to make Sirius pause for a moment. Just a couple steps past Altrios, the ice wolf stopped dead and turned around slowly to look at the wolfdragon with a bit of confusion on his face. “The kobolds over-ordered again, and there’s a lot more than we planned on. It’s going to melt and go to waste unless you do something about it… Ya know, or eat it.”

“…You ordered too much again, didn’t you?”

“No! Honest! It was the kobolds this time, I promise. You told me to not order ever again and leave it to the kobolds after the last time we over-ordered those donuts and you were stuck digesting for a week… So, I left it all to them. Honst!” Altrios said, though he was grinning when he spoke. It wasn’t because he was telling a fib; this really was the truth. His kobolds, the servants of the palace for himself and the dragons who lived there as well, were indeed in charge of ordering after the donut incident. It had been a good incident in his opinion, and was the reason for the grin as he spoke as he remembered it. The donut overload had left Sirius so bloated and fat that the wanderlust of the wolf was put on hold for a solid few weeks while he slimmed back down from downright fat after the binge he’d gone on. Sirius was darn powerless around sweets and ice cream, and it was fun to take advantage of that… But the tongue lashing he’d gotten for it made sure he didn’t try and take advantage of that very often. Sure from time to time he’d leave around a cake or five for the wolf to eat and then have to spend a week in the gym working off to get back to his lean, muscled physique, but what was the harm in that? It was nice to look at Sirius with a belly after all!

“How much did they over-order?” Sirius asked, eyes narrowing with annoyance as he could tell that this wasn’t just an off the cuff mention… There was something clearly up here, and he wasn’t about to be tricked again into eating himself huge. Especially not now, right before the holidays and the winter season, where he was at his most comfortable. He wanted to be a cold streak through the snow, not a warm ball of fluff working off pounds he’d piled on from his appetite getting away from him. Extra ice cream though… It would be really, really hard to say no.

“Uhm… Promise you won’t be mad? Like, I really didn’t do it this time. It was one of the kobolds, and he’s already been put on weapon polishing for a week for it.” Altrios said quietly, looking away as he tried to avoid the clear annoyance of Sirius in all this.

“You didn’t do it, so I am not angry with you… However, I need to kn-“

“A full wagon load.” Altrios blurted out, and then pointed at the stores for the castle. Right beside it was an extra cart that shouldn’t have been there, with the logo of the local dairy on the covering over it. The two bulls who owned the dairy were still unloading it, large barrels of sweet, thick ice cream being brought into the stores and stacked up wherever there was room… And it looked like there wasn’t going to be much left with how it was going. Sirius’ eyes went wide at that, and he looked from Altrios to the cart and back again before his jaw hit the floor. “I didn’t do it…”

Sirius, for his part, didn’t say anything. He just turned on his heels and went right into the castle without another word. He needed sleep and food, right then… He would deal with this when he woke up. He wasn’t going to try and handle this right now. Altrios figured that would be that too, since there was no point in trying to deal with Sirius when he was upset like this. He could prank the wolf later… And he would, that was for sure. The ice cream delivery wasn’t his doing, but he would definitely use it. Oh he would use it… Pranks were already spinning in his head, and one in particular was going to be perfect to get the serious Sirius to calm down and slow up for a while. It just had to be pulled off perfectly.

And so Altrios set things into motion.

First, the wolfdragon directed one of the large barrels of ice cream to the kitchen, as fast as possible, just to make sure that Sirius would see it when he went in to get himself a meal before laying down to sleep. Next, another barrel was brought in to just in front of Sirius’ room, with a note from Altrios for the wolf to have some and enjoy it, since there was so much and he wanted Sirius to have a good night and eat something good before bed. It wasn’t malicious, it wasn’t direct… But it was leaving temptation there, and the wolfdragon knew full well what that would be doing to Sirius. Torturing the wolf with leaving ice cream around and watching as that little bit of self control Sirius had around the stuff vanish? Oh it would be fun… But it would be a long prank, maybe even a few solid days before all those walls were broken down and the wolf was just eating ice cream like it was going out of style. It was going to be fun, Altrios knew that, so he was ready for it… And definitely would be ordering another cart of ice cream!

The first day was much like any other, Sirius was back and he wanted rest. Of course, one of those barrels of ice cream got a sizable dent in it… A very sizable one in fact. And the second day? Well the second day was even worse, with a full barrel of the stuff winding up in Sirius that left him laying on the bed in his room panting softly and rubbing a very, very full stomach as he did so. He was still pawing at the barrel though, such was his need for ice cream. The third day? That was when all bets were off, and the stores actually saw a bit of a dip for the first time with Sirius eating more and more of the sweet, frozen cream without any of the Kobolds or Altrios himself intervening in any way. Well, any direct way. If the containers were left where Sirius could get to them and the wolf had no self control, then who was to say why they kept vanishing into the steadily fattening canine? Not them, that was for sure… No, this was all Sirius. Altrios was just making sure the frozen treat was well within reach at all times, and it was working like a charm.

It was the fourth day that those efforts became more overt. The wolfdragon was wheeling in a second barrel for Sirius in the morning when the ice wolf awoke, snorting himself awake from a deep slumber after having passed out into his third food coma in as many days. “Wha… Altrios? What are you doing in here?”

“Just making sure you have your favorite treat in reach is all! I have to make sure that you can get to it since, well…” The wolfdragon said with a devious smile, nodding towards Sirius with that grin. The wolf knew right away what the other meant, and his cheeks flared in a bright, unprompted blush at the comment. He had indeed been getting rather round from all the binging on ice cream, just those few short days of eating little more than ice cream and loads of it having added dozens of pounds to his frame. He was no longer lithe, or thin, or even chunky. He was fat. And he knew it, as he lay there in bed feeling like he had a very heavy weighted blanket atop him, and feeling his chest ever so lightly wobble with each breath he took. It was almost humiliating… But there was something about it that was alluring too. Sure, he wasn’t the hunter and ice mage he had been just a few days before; he had gone to seed, and that much was clear. But he had worked off a lot of fat before, and he was certain he could do it again. If only they would stop bringing him the damn ice cream!

“I don’t need more of t-“

“Nonsense, you totally need more,” Altrios interrupted, dropping the barrel down right next to the other that was beside the bed. “You haven’t been happier and more relaxed than you have in the last few days for a long time. Take the break, eat some more ice cream… You know you want more of it.”

“I-I do, but I certain-“

“Certainly can’t what? Keep eating it? That’s fine… I can help with that if you want,” Altrios said, one of his snaking tendrils of elemental magic moving on up and gently pressing itself onto the wolf’s large gut. It sank in a little, the pressure and feeling of that much fat yielding under it making Sirius’ blush renew it’s strength. He had really, really gotten fat… Damnit. “So why don’t you just lay back, and let me take care of that for you.”

“I don’t t-MMPH!” Sirius started, and then was quite rudely interrupted by another one of the tendrils from Altrios stuffing a mouthful of ice cream into his face. He couldn’t get a word out with that tendril either, as he was forced to either choke on the rich, heavy, cold cream being crammed into him, or swallow it. He of course chose swallowing it, and was met instantly with another mouthful of the stuff, which went down a little easier than the first. Then another, and another still, and another after that… It was only about 8 of these mouthfuls before any meaningful resistance was worn down and Sirius was just eating the stuff down without even trying to put up a fight. Of course he was frowning and glaring at Altrios, but the wolfdragon was just grinning away at Sirius the whole time. Not a care in the world for the wolfdragon right then but stuffing his friend full of the treat he loved so much; that was Altrios right then to a T. So of course, the stuffing had to continue.

Continue it did, going for well over an hour as Altrios continued to push mouthful after soggy, melted mouthful into Sirius. The wolf was rounding out again, and he actually began to feel a little warm as his stomach kicked in to start digesting some of that rich dessert into more comfortable wolf blubber to further cover his once-fighting-fit frame. Altrios teased when Sirius got even heavier, using some more of his magics to rub at the swelling dome of wolf gut that was rising ever so slowly off the bed as the feasting, or rather involuntary stuffing, continued. “You are getting so big. Mighty hunter like you should look the part… Dare I say you’re looking like the most successful hunter ever right now.” “Oh my, I think I can hear the bed creaking under you. About to vanquish your latest foe with your mass alone?” “You’ve gotten so big that there isn’t a tavern in the province that wouldn’t flee at the sight of you now, Sirius.” All of that and more came the wolf’s way as he just let the stuffing keep happening.

Now, could Sirius have used some of his magic to stop Altrios from stuffing him? Of course, that would have been simple enough. The wolfdragon was a powerful mage, there was no mistaking that, but Sirius was even stronger when it came to ice magics, and he could have shut the hybrid out without too much of a fight. When it came down to it though, he couldn’t complain about what was happening to him. Sure it was utterly ruining his figure and he was going to be working this fat off for months, but… Well, it was comfortable, and he didn’t mind being comfortable for a while after the run of work he had been putting himself through as of late. He just had to remind himself of that quite a bit as pounds continued to pile onto him, making his arms heavier and his chest droopier. His gut bulged out further and covered what had once been his lap, and then began to work it’s way down over his knees. His legs bulked up to be tree trunks of lard, pillars of pounds that would quake should he ever get the notion to try and get out of bed after this. But… That would be effort, and it was so, so much easier to just let Altrios have his way and enjoy himself.

So that was what Sirius did.

This went on for days and days, the stores of ice cream in the castle dwindling, then being refilled by a ‘surprise’ second order that Altrios totally didn’t send out himself. The second round didn’t last long though, as Sirius had become something of a machine at that point, just opening his mouth when he awoke, and closing it again once he passed out into the inevitable food coma that came from consuming one’s body weight in sugar, cream, and ice. It was no surprise too that his weight exploded, utterly blowing past what any wolf should weigh and into sizes that were normally reserved for the beasts of the sea or the dragons of old, and then even probably past though too. There was nothing that Altrios did to hinder this either; the wolfdragon was getting what he wanted in a prank well pulled off and a belly to lounge on and play with. Sirius, on the other paw, was getting the relaxation and comfort that he’d wanted, even if it came at the cost of his ability to walk, then lift his arms, and then even see properly as his cheeks began to bunch into his vision and really make him feel truly fat. Even sat up, he was slowly sinking into the ball of blubber that he was eating himself into… But neither of the canids stopped. Altrios was enjoying himself too much to care, and Sirius had become too accustomed to being stuffed to the gills with ice cream every waking moment to think anything else could be done.

All good things had to come to an end though, and so it was nearly three weeks into the constant feeding of Sirius that the wolf awoke to find Altrios nestled in on his stomach… Or rather, he thought it was Altrios, as he couldn’t see much past the ceiling anymore thanks to his cheeks blocking a large chunk of his vision as well as the fat of his chins and chest pushing said vision right up towards the skies. He could feel a weight on him though, and assumed it was the wolfdragon… And then he felt his tongue not being frozen over by ice cream. It was an odd sensation, and he didn’t really know what to think of it. He had grown used to it, fond of it, and even comforted by it. For the taste of sugary coldness to not be there… It was a little jarring, and he had to try and think now for the first time in what felt like a very, very long time.

“Oh, you’re up! Well Sirius… I think I can officially say you’re the fattest wolf that’s ever lived right now.” Altrios said with a yawn, stirring as the little motion of Sirius jolting awake had acted like an alarm clock for the wolfdragon. He stretched on the belly which he could comfortably rest on, looking over the light blue hues of it’s vast surface that had long since smothered the bed on which Sirius had started, and now filled nearly half the room the two were in with it’s mass alone. Mix in the colossal width of the wolf’s thighs, the prodigious mass of a rear that could be considered twin peaks of pure blubber, and the various other vestiges of where limbs had been as well as where rolls just collected as fat tried to figure out where it could go on the wolf, and it was safe to say that Siruis fill almost the entirety of his bed chambers; and that was no small feat. Being a prince, those bed chambers were quite grand, and he was pressing quite firmly against three of the four walls of said chambers with enough weight to immobilize every kobold in the castle thrice over. Altrios had done a good job fattening him up, that was for sure!

“Now, since I know you can’t see me, just a sec,” Altrios said, and then began to paw his way gingerly along the wobbling, rippling ocean of blubber that was Sirius. The wolf tried not to giggle as the movement tickled him, but it did every time, so a couple guffaws escaped his muzzle despite himself. His brain not addled by sugar and cream, his cheeks darkened in embarrassment at what he had done to himself. It would take months to work even half of this weight off! How could he have let himself go so far down in this… How could he… He smelled ice cream, and his eyes shot right up to look at Altrios’ head hanging over his own. In the tendrils of magic above him, there was a weight for working out in one, and a ball of ice cream slowly melting in the other.

“Now, I figure since you’re such a prized porker now, I should give you a choice. You can go back to being the mighty hunter with a lot of work… Or I can keep on stuffing my mattress for a while longer and then you can just enjoy the winter as my personal bed. You get to pick. The first snow of the year is coming, and I know you would like to see it. But, I also know there’s no way you’ll get slimmed down in time to go and see it either… So, that’s why I’m giving you a choice now. Try and slim down some to see your first snow, or just stay and enjoy the fat you’ve been packing on.” Altrios spoke with a devious grin as he always did, mischief shining in his eyes. The wolfdragon knew this was no choice; the wolf did too. It was simply the illusion of a choice. Sirius had been conditioned, trained, and solely focused on eating for weeks now. There was no way he was going to just give that up. His willpower was gone. His stoic nature was smothered under pounds of blubber too heavy to escape from. His control was just covered in fat and cream… No, the old Sirius would have said yes to training. Yes to losing this accursed weight. Yes to getting back out to running through the forests and hunting and fighting with his magics.

This Sirius just opened his mouth and whined lightly for the ice cream.

And Altrios popped it right in there, with plenty more to follow.
